About Dr. Nourian

Dr. Alex Nourian, MD, is a board-certified urologist born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He continued his medical education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree.

Dr. Nourian then pursued his internship in General Surgery at Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a residency in Urology at the same institution. During his residency, he received specialized training at esteemed institutions such as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Fox Chase Cancer Center. At these centers, he was mentored by leading experts in pediatric urology, reconstructive urology, and urologic oncology.

Throughout his residency, Dr. Nourian was recognized for his academic excellence and research contributions. Notably, he was awarded the Resident Essay Prize at the American Urological Association (AUA) Mid-Atlantic Section Meeting in 2021 and triumphed in the Resident Bowl at the AUA's National Meeting in 2022.

Dr. Nourian's clinical expertise encompasses the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stone disease, prostate cancer, and erectile dysfunction. He is proficient in both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted procedures, ensuring personalized and effective patient care.

Currently, Dr. Nourian practices in Glendale, CA, where he is committed to delivering high-quality urologic care to his patients. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and engaging in outdoor activities.
